Thanks Kyrle. I would gave preferred to have been able to suggest those buildings with a few considered brush strokes. But that is something I’m going to have to work on.
Wow Sally, Frank Norah Michael and myself had a different viewpoint completely, this is really lovely. I hope we get another outing there in the Summer or late Spring, Its a fabulous venue. Those trees in the foreground are beautifully rendered and frame the architectural parts wonderfully. You had a great day I'd say.

Sally I too wanted to paint from there but it was too windy and chilly so a few of us went down the steep steps from the car park under you and got sherter from the wind. You got the mill to bring the painting together as it juts over the trees in to the sky. Those trees in the foreground are beautifully painted and you did well not to over do them, as is the touch of blue on that roof, it was worth the cold as you would not get this feel from a photo. I think its ok to finish at home, especially in winter.
