Great pic Greg. Captured the scene beautifully. This is such a familiar view for me as my Nan/Dad used to live in Clontarf .. spent many a happy time there during the holidays oil painting with my Nan as a child.

Tony. quick is less than I hour.  I always was very quick with a painting knife, but you don't get any real detail.  Working larger is actually easier and quicker than trying to do it on a small scale.

Excellant. You have captured the grey Irish day so well and the composition

conveys the expanse of a coastline. It's interesting so contrast this painting

with Lori Putman's recently uploaded paintings obviously done in bright

sunshine.

Daft question, but what constitutes 'quick' ? I'd reckon a decent size canvas like this would be a fair undertaking, not being much use with a knife myself.
