I really love the sense of freedom in this - the tractor has an expression of contentment and jauntiness. tThat chink of light is wonderful as are the shadows.  I think I felt like this tractor when I was working and used to gaze out the window thinking how I might escape for good someday

Sally, fabulous.  I am still looking for a calendar of Old Tractors, but so much nicer to work on one!  This tractor is a little beauty.  It was a beautiful day for painting yesterday/.

Gosh Kevin thank you very much. It was one of those sights that make you stop in your tracks - and the strong sunshine is a rarity these times.
Your paintings are very impressive - your Green Doors of course but I also loved your portrait of your Godson, Bobby. And the watercolours seem so appropriate and delicate for little kids.

Wonderful  sunlight  and shadows ,   Sally.   and that    is an interesting glimpse of freedom for the tractor out through that window.    Until a while ago there was a whole   channel  devoted  to John Deere tractors on satellite tv - all honest hard-working engines    of integrity.

Oil on board 8''x10'' .  Grabbed the sun yesterday while it lasted.  Little tractor looks like its going to try a few doughnuts.
