I think when paintings are done so that the horizon is either set high, or low, it adds an extra bit of interest.

This is out by Rush, Co Dublin and the Martello tower forms a focal point from a number of vantage points - but usually, when time is short, you have to take a bet on finding a good composition when you go down some laneway or other and make the best of it as you find it. Again the focal point is roughly along the top horizontal and vertical left hand side third division lines.

You really capture the feeling of distance and the size of things. It has a very nice feel.
