Thank you. The rocks drove me nuts! As did the waves, but I really enjoyed trying to capture them. I think by the end I was coming to terms with both better. The residence was so laid-back, and easy, that there wasn't any pressure from without. I did feel l needed to do as much as I could, and had set an amount to shoot for, which was 20 paintings. I got into a good rhythm of painting mornings and afternoons or late evenings when the light became golden and pretty. One day even painting in my car since it was pouring down rain. Great place, great experience. I really appreciated having the chance to get to do it.

Hi Elaine. These are full of atmosphere. It seems to have been a lovely, isolated place and you got loads of paintings done - and no doubt, had a great time doing them, although I'm sure there's a little bit of pressure, too, to 'justify' your time there? Anyway, you seem to have turned it to advantage and explored some new themes in some depth.
