You are a hard-core painting group! Bravo to you! We have been buried in more snow this winter than we have ever had, and I have only painted "outdoors" by looking out my studio window. I love getting out in it to do things, but just standing to paint and I would turn into an icicle.

Hi tony,
If I remember Paul was set up near you....Looks like ye were frozen to the spot! How did you get sooo much info down so quickly? The adrenaline must have been pumping!

Thank you. My friends live in the south of England, near Lymington. We painted some in the New Forest, around her house, and then went for a week to Polruan, in Cornwall. She is a very good artist, most preferring to paint heavy horses. Yes, that is an Irish house, although it is here in the states. Near where I live is a Frontier Culture Museum which has buildings which were brought here from various countries that the people then immigrated to the US. Many acres of wonderful farms, and things to paint. I am part of a plein air class, and we spent a lot of time there last year. I was looking at the festival, that looks like a lot of fun.

Hi Elaine. Thanks for the comment. It was freezing and we all raced through our painting on that day. Whereabouts in England did you go to paint last year? That looks like an Irish cottage on your painting. Nice if you can come for the festival some time. But if not, we paint out most of the year and you'd be very welcome along.
