Thanks Norah, I am not very pure as a watercolorist, a lot of scrubbing and layering goes on, it lets me experiment and try things. I'm not sure its a valid way of working as a watercolorist but it's what I like, and that contributes greatly to the softness and dreamy feel. Thanks Kevin and Sally for you kind words also, I love the variety of approaches I see in both watercolour and oils every week in Plein Eire and its one of my favourite things to look forward to.

Kyrle your watercolours are special- soft but with enough tone to strengthen the composition
