Thought I would be able to do some negative painting around the tree trunk but just too cold but will return again on a warmer day as it is a lovely location

I also like your choice of the viewpoint, sheltered; and that hazy atmospheric feel. Yes, I think we should go there again in spring. There are more nice views to paint.
