Hi Sheila, I started a while ago with oil pastels to get away from the brush and detail. Then moved on to the oil bars. The W&N were melting in the heat yesterday, so not usable. The US Shiva ones stayed good. But still too much detail for me yet. Next paint out you can have a try of them. It,s great not having spirits etc to carry. And I like to get my fingers into the painting.

Yes oil sticks. The W&N ones were melting in the heat! The US ones didn't.
