This is so evocative Tony. The old trawler abandoned in the bushes speaks of times gone by. Perhaps the family has moved on to ‘better things’. The old father, out of use too, savouring the heat of the sun on his back as he potters about, the pink tone, the texture and the blue of the shadows of the gable and the foreground greens have my imagination working overtime.
It conjures up a place we all wish we could go to now, if only for a week - beautiful painting, guess will have to wait a few more months, take care
