Thanks Sally and Norah, that particular alleyway was indeed quiet but I nearly froze with the cold, the sun was shining beyond where I was sitting.

  • That’s a great oeuvre from Festival, Kyrle.  This one appeals to me especially. Isn’t it great to find something like it away from the hurley burley - an oasis in the middle of modern life. Lovely loose use of w/cs.

I was sure I left a comment but sometimes on my phone I forget to press add. This is my favourite Kyrle, not sure why as the rest of them are full of atmposphere and beauty too. I love your oil of the lock on the canal, you have the same effect with that as you achieve with wc
