9.30am, Thursday, 1st August "Landscape Painting Fundamentals "; Half-day Workshop at Bunclody.

Pennsylvania artist Valerie Craig is an experienced teacher who has visited Ireland numerous times to teach at the well-known Burren School of Painting. Valerie has won many awards for her work, including Artists' Choice at the prestigious Plein Air Easton in 2010 and 1st prize at Wayne Plein Air Festival in the same year. While her paintings are full of daring colours and unusual compositions, Valerie's patient manner and emphasis on getting the basics right will refresh experienced artists and ensure beginners are set on the shortest path to success.
