2pm, Thursday, 1st August "Capturing the Moment"; Half-day Workshop in Oils at Bunclody.

Finland's Antti Rautiola, is a very talented oil painter and this workshop shows his personal approach to painting en plein air. The Art in the Open award-winner from Helsinki invites artists of any level of expertise to join him at his workshop. 'I am not teaching a method to put paint down, just showing my method of seeing and nailing the essentials of shape, drawing, value, composition, colour etc.. Antti has a relaxed manner and when painting he sometimes encourages passing children 'have a go' on his beautiful canvas! ' If you have ever been frustrated by painting, or tentative in your approach, this workshop is for you.
