This coming Saturdays paint out is in the Botanical Gardens in Glasnevin. These magnificent gardens were originally a private collection for privileged members of the Royal Dublin Society in 1795..... , and only opened to the general public in 1884.
We have been granted permission to paint in the grounds only as this weekend they are hosting the Royal Horticultural Society of Artists Seminar ...and are expecting to be very busy .
we have been asked to not walk on the planted beds, not to block pathways with our art supplies, not to paint within the green houses, no problem painting on the grass, and just common sense after that....
we plan on meeting up at the usual time 11am in the cafe on the grounds.Parking for the entire day costs 2euro.
All welcome....hope to see you there.( the more the merrier )
