Location: Meet between 10.30-11 am at the Fishing Pier. Take the R291 from Sligo signposted Rosses Point for 8 kms. Drive along Prom, past Austies pub and take the small left turn at the Beckoning Lady statue... This takes you to car park and fishing pier.

Event Description
Rosses Point is a pretty seaside village 8 kms north of Sligo town with a small pier; several beaches and a long Prom . Spectacular views abound - back along the channel towards Sligo/ over Coney and Oyster islands towards Knocknarea across the bay/ Out over the beach towards Lissadell with Benbulben as a backdrop.... Not to mention, the Metalman in the channel .... So , Spoilt for choice !!
Austies and Harry's pubs available for coffee/ pint/ loos .
Bring flask and sambo if you like but Cottage coffee shop serves soup/ snacks.
Rosses Point has a nice campsite overlooking the sea and there is also plenty of B and B accom for those who might make a weekend of it !!
