This Saturday, June 27 the venue is the authentic windmills of Skerries. Map link above.
Meet in the windmill coffee shop at 11 and 3.
Set in their own parkland, with interesting water features because there are two windmills this is the most impresssive windmill venue in Ireland. There is a reasonable entrance fee to avail of a tour and the immediate grounds, but most people find there is plenty of space besides. Nearby is the town of Skerries with harbour and boats etc.
Many of the great artists have been inspired by windmills including ~Rembrandt and Van Gogh, above.
Regarding Van Gogh there are interesting controversies in the news at the moment.
For instance is this photo Van Gogh?
