Event Description

Romanian Creative Minds of Ireland prepares for launch of its 1st event with an amazing line up of festivities!

ROMANIA’S NATIONAL DAY will be celebrated in Ireland, for the first time, with a bilingual event (Romanian & English) on Sunday, 1st December 2013, in the heart of Dublin!

The event will take place in Exchange Dublin (Temple Bar) and will gather Romanian and Irish artists from Dublin and Bucharest, officials and representatives of various organisations and private companies from both countries.

The programme is extremely complex and includes art and photo exhibitions, a book launching with special guests from Bucharest, video presentations about Romania, folk music recitals and poetry reading, the Awards Ceremony of a writing competition, traditional dance performance and language workshops. There will also be some children entertainment activities, a cocktail and a networking event.

Our Irish relatives, friends and neighbors will have the opportunity to find out what are Romanian people celebrating on the 1st of December and much more: they will get a bit of taste of Romania’s history, culture and traditions.

All events are FREE OF CHARGE and you are ALL WELCOME to join us!
