This Saturday we are going to Castletown House, Celbridge. A lovely place with lots to offer everyone in the grounds of this house. Trees with autumn colours, river, bridge, ducks and of course Castletown House!
Meet in the coffee shop at the House at 11am and back again afterwards at 3 for more scones & coffee!
All welcome, and weather looking good.

Thank you for hosting today Caroline. My tri-pod collapsed so I will have to go back mid-week to try again as it is such a great location. I will post a mid-week event if the weather is looking good. The light in Castletown at the moment would warrant an early start as it was beautiful early this morning
Caroline, I will meet for coffee at Castletown but then I might go to the Wonderful Barn on the Leixlip end of the estate. I think you have to leave Castetown and access it from just outside Leixlip - I will check out access later incase anyone else wants to paint there but its only mins away. Probably could go across the fields if you are feeling energetic !
The Wonderful Barn is a corkscrew-shaped building on the edge of Castletown House Estate of the Connolly family, which borders Leixlip and Celbridge, County Kildare, Ireland. It was built in 1743 on the Leixlip side of the Castletown Estate
