Event Description

Painting in the the lovely town of Maynooth in Co.Kildare with a variety of subjects from the impressive grounds of the college, the canal or nearby Carlton Estate where there is limited public access (the photo above was taken in Carlton est)

I have attached AA route planner directions from Drogheda to Maynooth below or if you want to avoid motorway contact me by email and I will send you the scenic route

Comment by Norah Blount on June 8, 2012 at 9:36: Meet at the Elite coffee shop at 11am and meet again around 3.30pm but some stay out longer painting - its all whatever suits and is about finding new places and some little hidden gems as well as lots of chat. For anyone coming from the Drogheda area there is the option of going across country via Navan, Trim, Kilcock then Maynooth instead of the motorway - phone me at 087 6891485 if any one gets lost. Car parking at Tesco on the Leixlip end of village, Supervalu car park which lies behind the main street and is accessible if you come in from the motorway (at the Glen Royal Hotel) or parking on the main street. Parking in the college grounds is no longer free at 1Euro and hour
