Event Description

Noordwijk Painting Festival (Schildersfestival) is a week-long outdoor painting festival organised by local citizens at the seaside in Holland. Noordwijk is Amsterdam's nearest good beach and noted for windsurfing and other sports as well as its lively beach bars, restaurants and hotels and has been a favourite of artists since victorian times.

A first prize of art materials to the value of €2500 and a young artist's award to the value of €1000 is sponsored by Royal Talens. Fresh paintings are also available for purchase.
