A Master Pastelist with the Pastel Society of America and award-winning member of the American Impressionist Society, Margaret Dyer travels from Georgia, USA, and teaches a simple step-by-step method to use pastel. Emphasis is on developing form using light and shadow and color temperature. Suggested materials: portable easel, mid- tone sanded paper and stiff backboard, compressed charcoal, soft pastels and a small table to hold your pastels.
