Owencarrow viaduct - Gaeltacht thair tir Chona

The paint out on Saturday, 22 March 2025 is at Owencarrow viaduct. This year marks the 100 year anniversary of the train disaster during a storm in January that led to the closure of the trainline. We will be meeting in The Coffee Pod (F92 T2RF) off the Main street in Cresslough before/after the bend and make our way from there. 

It is March, so definitely spring yet the temperatures are still quite low so make sure to bring what you need to stay warm and comfy for the day including hats and gloves, hot water bottles, wraps, rain gear is never amiss and let’s not forget a snack or light lunch, hot or cold drink, chair and - your art materials or whatever you want to spend your time with. And it is always good to have a sketch pad with you, you never know when you might need it. All are welcome to come along in body - and mind.
