Gaeltacht thair tir Chona - Milford

The paintout on Saturday, 22 February 2025 is at Milford, town of the gallóglach, once famous for its bakery and mills. Milford offers a wide range of urban scenes to choose from: historic, maintained as well as derelict private, public, religious and commercial buildings so there should be something for everyone to delight in.

We will be meeting at 10am in The Coffee Garden (F92 YCW7) off the R245 in the Milford Retail and Business Park (take the turnoff for Lidl - if you pass you have gone too far) and make our way from there.

It is still winter though spring is just around the corner, it might be hiding a wee bit so be well prepared for the cold with scarves, hats, gloves, wooly socks, layers,hot water bottles… And bring along a light lunch, hot or cold drink, chair and of course your art materials or whatever you want to spend your time with. All are welcome to come along in body - and mind.
