Gaeltacht thair tir Chona - DOE CASTLE

The paintout on Saturday, 3 August 2024 is at Doe Castle. We will be meeting at 10am at The Coffee Pod (F92 T2RF) off the Main street in Cresslough before/after the bend and make our way from there.

Doe Castle has much on offer: a castle (Doe, dooh ;-) ), the view of the castle from the viewing point, a quaint bridge over the inlet, the estuary, a cemetary… 

It is August - the height of summer theoretically - so have the sunscreen ready, just in case! Otherwise, be prepared for all weather: layers for hot and cold, cover for rain, a chair, light lunch, hot or cold drink, and of course your art materials or whatever you need for the time you are about. All are welcome to come along in body - and mind.
