Event Description

By popular demand Slane will be the venue for this week’s paintout on 22^nd Nov. We meet in The Old Post Office at 11 a.m. for tea and scones or breakfast. Slane is still holding on to some of its autumnal splendour and we have a choice of wooded landscape, rolling pastures, ancient ruins, historic village, and river or canal. To get to Slane I suggest you avoid the M1 as there is a detour on the connecting road to Slane. Equally convenient for anyone travelling from Dublin is the N2 from Finglas. It will bring you straight into Slane. The Old Post Office is on the left of the crossroad in the centre of the village.
