Join the Boyne Valley Group this Saturday painting at Monasterboice, Co. Louth
Monasterboice is an early Christian site famous for its high crosses especially Muireadeach’s Cross, 17ft 8in, which is regarded as the finest high cross in the whole of Ireland.
The site stands in rolling County Louth countryside about 5 miles north of Drogheda
We will meet at 11 a.m. in the Monasterboice Inn which is easily accessed via Junction 10 (North Bound) or Junction 11 (South Bound) off the M1 Motorway. It is located a short distance off the M1 exits on the Old Drogheda Road – R132, in between the towns of Drogheda and Dunleer.
