Boyne Valley Paintout/in

Some B .V. painters are hardy folk and some are more delicate and blossom in more sheltered surroundings.  So this week we meet in Slane and the hardy ones may paint en plein air and the others may set up a still life in the hall in Monknewtown

To tempt you - The river Boyne, the canal, the Slane  Bridge,

The  Mill,
or the Hill.

We meet in George's Patisserie, on Chapel Street at 11 a.m.and then go on to Monknewtown Hall, or spread out among the sites of Slane.

We will return again to Slane for post mortems etc.

How to get there:-  I suggest if coming from Dublin take the N2 via Finglas.  That will take you directly to Slane.  Go through the X roads in the village.  George's is on the right before the Church.  There will be parking in front of the church.
