Event Description

Plein Air with a difference - Join International Urban Sketching instructors Inma Serrano of Seville, Miguel Herranz of Barcelona and Róisín Curé of Galway this July for three days of sketching out on the streets of Galway! The three experienced instructors will guide you in the ways of this marvellous new art craze that's taking the world by storm. While we concentrate on ink and watercolour, you may use any medium - it's up to you. The workshop costs €300 and runs over three days from 13th-15th July 2017. It's a town full of life, of colour, of events that cry out to be captured by an urban sketcher. This workshop is an amazing opportunity for beginners and improvers alike to take advantage of a small group of students with three passionate, skilled instructors at the helm. And remember - Róisín Curé is the only professional urban sketcher home-grown right here in Ireland and the only Irish correspondent in the Urban Sketchers blog. So join us as we take in the exciting sights of Galway with our watercolours, pens and sketchbooks this July!
