Delighted to hear from you, Yes it's me and I still play tennis but not quits so regularly, not enough time! I dont even have enough time for my art! Have just looked at your artwork how lovely it is excellent composition and light and a delicate touch. I didnt know you were painting, is this since you moved to Mullingar? Wonderful. Delighted to connect again, I am still in Lucan. I will definately go out with you but have family commitments right now. It is my total love to paint outside and have been doing it for years, but one does need to have company. M

Thank you for comment on my Evening Stillness. That painting was done in January.....I find the winter light more interesting. I wish someone would design a pair of heated fitted gloves!!!!!!!!!

We have been like ships in the night, making contact but never quite meeting.  You sound a bit like myself with your impetuosity in ordering the book so quickly.   I heard you saying you would, and I meant to have a word with you, that you're more than welcome to have mine anytime,  for as long as you like.   Sometimes they're quite expensive when listed,   but my experience is that for the one penny you should get it for less than a fiver.   Unfortunately, due to my late arrival, we weren't introduced -    I had been wondering who that attractive lady diagonally across from me was.    It dawned  on meafter I'd left, that it was probably yourself - your photo doesn't do you justice.    So, Norah, I look forward to meeting up  with   again and we might even get around to having a chat.  I enjoyed your painting of the tree,  with its almost sculptural effect.

Thanks for your kind comments - I'm afraid I have been slacking on plein air painting but would really like to get at it this year. Won't be at the lake but have put my name down for John's refresher  course in June.(Cong) You have done some lovely oils of late I noticed!

Norah, Dee, Alison and Sean,

I have been looking at Leenane Hotel, 

One of us is not available first two weeks in June and one is not available last week in June.  Cant remember who.

 Anyway, that seems to leave the third week i.e. from 18^th to 24^th.   Wed. and Thurs are out for Dee.  That leaves 17^th, 18^th, 19^th, 22^nd, 23^rd, 24^th.    23^rd is not available, therefore it would have to be earlier in the week i.e. Sunday 17^th and Monday 18^th or  Monday18th and Tuesday 19^th.

It looks like they have single rooms for €40 + dinner per night i.e. €119/120 for the two nights including breakfast and dinner each day.

Let me know what you think and if you would like me to book.  Does everyone want a single room?  It looks like we would want to move quickly especially as I think we all want single rooms.

Hi Norah, i got your message re plein eire in Leenane.  If the weather is good and you are all painting in the evening time after work  or I might take a half day.

The village has a few nice panting spots but dont be too nice to an over friendly drunk or he wont go away. Theres lots of parking but avaoid having your view obliterated by a parked bus.  best regards, Noelle Angley

When I was leaving a reception room in Botanic gardens, a man caught me. He said he is glass pavilions keeper. He said an artist groups must warn about them painting in the glass pavilions several days before. We must call gardens office. It is allow to paint in glass pavilions but they want to know about it. He stopped me. I don't know haw he recognized me as an artist.

Hi There Norah. Thank you for you message. I am very much in need of  a trip to  paint. I just  dropped John Dinan a line  say hello and that I'd like to get back to Roundstone or Cong for a few days painting. How you doing? You Painting much? I joined a local painting group and  really found it  helpful in keeping'my hand in'. Have you come across any of the other from the 'RHA' ... Roundstone Hall Artists? I see you  organising outings, well done!

Hi Norah. speaking of Second Sleep, I heard an interesting interview between Tubridy and Robert Harris the author who has just written a novel called just that. it has an interesting twist, its out on kindle and I just got it this minute. Its dystopian and I'm saying no more.

I was only out a couple of times with the group, at Sandycove and Cabinteely a couple of years ago, but hope to do more.
