Yes- I'm only finding my way around this site too -(its quite sophisticated, isnt it?). This I think is the place for memeber-to-member comments rather than on Group pages. On reflection, I dont think "Events" would be flagged by email to specific members - "Events" seems like a public announcement board so all signed up members would have to be emailed everytime a new event went up. "Group" postings, on the other hand,  are emailed to group members.

So your "every-second-sat" is running on 27/08, 10/09, 24/09.....thanks for not clashing with first Sat - but I think they will eventually line up:  "every-second-sat" ignores that there might be 5 sats in a month occassionally so then the Sats will be synchronised, until the next 5-Sat-month un-syncs them again! Its not a perfect world!

I,m away 20/08 and doing a life workshop 27/08, but I'll catch up with youse soon after that!

Sallly, Thank you for your kind comments. I work hard at "trying to simplify -into notes of colour" It takes alot of dedication. You are obviously outdoors alot catching the reflections in water. I like your compositions.

Yes, I agree. I thought I would do a dramatic twist on them, and see how they turned out.  I think they are the seed heads of Summer Thistle.

May I wish all my friends, most of whom I didn't even know this time last year, a very happy Christmas and a new year full of happy  painting experiences.
