Hi Peter.
Yes the Boyne Valley group is active every weekend weather permitting . Nothing less than a storm would stop them I believe. There is also a very active group in Wexford who would have people going on away trips to places like Venice. and who also operate all around Wexford Carlow Waterford. Finally there is a very active group in Donegal area.
You will see the paint-out events on the Plein Eire website main page every week. I have only been with them since mid June this year and am just starting back at art myself after a very long lay off. If you ever are over here anytime, you can just suggest a paint-out yourself and if there are people available they would join you.
