I think I've just managed to do that, Karen.

As an uninitiated Plein Air novice, am hoping I might be able to - finally - join in today.  Need info re where, timing, etc.  

Unlikely to be there..but good luck with the weather etc..

We're off to Wexford Wildfowl Reseve this Sunday 27th !

Guinness World Records, known until 2000 as The Guinness Book of Records has its origins in the North Slob. That evening at Castlebridge House he realised that it was impossible to confirm in reference books whether or not the golden plover was Europe's fastest game bird.^[5][6] He knew that there must be numerous other questions debated nightly in pubs in Britain and Ireland, but there was no book with which to settle arguments about records. He realised then that a book supplying the answers to this sort of question might prove popular.

Alternatively, for anyone who prefers, In conjunction with Wicklow Arts Festival, there's a paint-out on Sunday particularly if it is within reach of anyone in Wicklow or N. Wexford or who fancies a spin.

A local press launch for Art in the Open 2012 will be held in White's Hotel on Sunday 29th between 8 and 9pm and will be addressed by mayor of Wexford, Cllr. Jim Allen. This brief event will be a first opportunity to meet and extend a warm welcome to some of the artists attending this year's festival, including several visitors from overseas.

To any SEPA members living close by, why not come along to say, 'hello'?I'm sure that would be appreciated by the visiting artists.

Hey Karen, while visiting the good folk in Tintern after the fire Kathleen said they'd be delighted to have us back at Ballyhack during Heritage week 18h-26th so that's all good.

Yes you are right Tony  the 19th is past.  What about for the 16th of September down around Lady's Island, there is a beach surrounded by pylons near the Lobster Pot. The beach has large rocks along it, very dramatic. (is there spellcheck on this thing)

We are working on getting permission to paint in Wells House .I hope to confirm details later today  for this Sunday 2nd September. 

Nethertown is a great spot Phil ..we can pencil it in for the 16th .

...and don't tempt us Rene.......maybe some of us  we can make a trip over to you sometime  :)

Any thoughts for this Sunday Coming ? Courttown Harbour / Courtown Forest / Poulshone have been mentioned as possibles....nearly all those could be visited on the same day as they are in close proximity to each other. Edenvale, a return visit to Wells House, and Screen. What do you think ?

cant make it on sunday  but the jfk or tintern would be good next time ,as all the autumn colours will be in full flow,
