This was painted at Sonairte. I had lost my brushes there two weeks ago, and I was delighted when they rang me to say that they had been found. Sonairte is just up the road from Balbriggan, where the Boyne Valley group met today. I had intended to join them after picking up my brushes, but the beauty of the place seduced me, so I stayed there.
