Hi everyone! Thanks a lot for the very warm welcome.
I got the question if I know of other Swedish plein air painters. I am sorry to tell you that I dont know any. Thats a reason too that I seek fellowship over the internet.
Hello everyone, I'm new to Plein Eire and really looking forward to participating in it. I have looked at some of the works displayed and feel really positive that I can get in front of a canvass and paint away. Watch this space and thanks for all those who welcomed me onto the site.
hi sorry about no photo! just had my computer serviced and dont seem to have any photos of myself at present but as soon as i comb my hair and put war paint on i will present myself!( have flu at present so give me a few days ) thanks for welcome and advice , may be able to go to carlow will get in touch when i know for definite, thanks again kay
Yes Sun. June 12th in Carlow Town will have a lot of activities in the water with the first outdoor Water Park in Ireland (I think!?!) on the River Barrow (for June 11th & 12th only), a full day of events including water slides, dancers, samba bands, young musicians, workshops etc. from 12 - 4pm in the Carlow Town Park. Artists can either mingle and paint or paint from a distance from the other side of the river. The views seen on June 12th won't be seen very often, especially in Ireland! (let's hope the weather is good!) Hence we thought it could be a good idea to have a Plein Air event.
We have an artist facilitating the meet and greet who is very experienced in Plein Air events and is delighted to be involved....
Hope you are keeping well and that we get to meet up on the 12th.
Thank You Annmarie.
I am at it for years..had a good teacher in New York.I have taught some plein air on Inisbofin island. To be honest it is tough...managing the weather etc. Midges stuck to paint....I will try and find my way around the site.

Hi Thanks so much. This is a great site. Do you know if there is a group in Mayo ( Achill)? Thanks for the welcome.
I would be willing to help set up a group here,
somewhere in Co. Down would be good!
Thanks a mil for that..something reasonably close to home would be great..will look into it..other than that, hope to make an outing soon!

Lelia
