Plein Air/Plein Eire

My plein air painting of an Irish cottage at our local Frontier Culture Museum, here in Virginia, USA was the first painting/artist featured on the website, "Irish Fireside". Plein Eire was mentioned in the short article with the painting. I thought you all would be interested in seeing it. The site is very nice, and they have a fun podcast series too. Enjoy!

So I went to their website to look around and saw a spot where you could sign up to possibly win things. I'm a sucker for that, so I signed up. I won a gift certificate! When I responded, they saw my artwork, and asked about putting it on their site. So, moral to the story.....you never know where people will come from who are interested in your artwork. :)

Thanks for posting it and for the Plein Eire plug. Your painting seems to have sparked off a new feature.

Irish Fireside seems a friendly site and perhaps some of our other American members might like to contribute an Irish painting image to it? I'll alert a few of them who have been here.
