This painting done on location was a quick decision at the end of the day, I just saw this little guys swimming around. They are so funny they are like little speed boats and somehow always swimming away from you!!!

I have just had the most wonderful few days painting at the Arboretum in Jacksonville. Painting Plein Air this was a hidden jewel that many didn’t know about! Press coverage, word of mouth and some talented artists, volunteers and the hardworking team organizing “A Brush with Nature” at Jacksonville’s Arboretum put this special place ...on the map and made the event a phenomenal success!
