I havent been out painting in almost three weeks, boy i kind of missed it. Went out today and should have stayed at home and worked in studio. but I had to get out. I had an unfinshed painting from another trip to Five Fingers strand which I thought would be a good bases to start with.Well I went down to the beach first to walk the dog, before returning to the car park high above the strand. Took a few pictuers and promtly steped of a rock and tristed my anckel, not badley just enough to cause discomfort. Eventualy I went up to the place I had intended to paint from, setup and let the dog out of the car, dog promtly sniffed and romped around the carpark and promtly jumped back int the boot and would not come out again ( shouls have done the same ) I spent the next hour or so with frozen hands, chasing my hat and eventualy when I stoped to have a warming Coffey i had to start picking up the tubes of paint which had been in my French Easil, this had blowen over the wind coming of the sea had got too strong with this sign I packed up and returned home. for heat and comfort, Ihate to admit it but the Dog was right.
