Oil on board 10in x 12in
Streetscape of Trimmers' Lane, outside GreenAcres. The juxtaposition of colours interested me. The woman in the right foreground very conveniently and unknowingly sat for me.

Hi Terry and Norah. Thanks for the comments.

As far as being brave to paint in such a busy place goes, the truth is that I sequestered myself at the closest subject to the AITO tent (visible in the painting). So it was not really a question of being brave, rather more one of laziness!

like that you left out the table where the woman is sitting - a touch of mystery, love the colours and very brave to paint in such a busy place !

The blocks of colour very effectively add to an interesting composition  and make this a worthy winner.  Congratulations George.
