Oil bars on canvasboard 30 x 25 cm.. First time trying out the oil bars to "see how they go". I like using the oil pastels v much. But they never dry ever, (so I read). So this is oil paint in a bar. It dries, I'm told, in 3 to 6 days. Limited colours!

Comment by Michael McGuire on March 26, 2015 at 15:13: It's worth experimenting with several media, Dick. On the face of it, oil bars make sense for plein air painting in Ireland. What I like here is that you seem to have got nice clean colour with no unintentional mixing.
