This was the third painting in the 'Lunt Lane' paintings, all set within a few wards from each other on Lunt Lane, I had to come back another day to paint thin scene, if you turn left at this spot you will be in the position I painted Lunt Lane, at the back of where I am standing is the Public Path to the River Alt…three paintings all in one spot, it was a good decision to turn right and go down the lane you see here as it is off the main track…lucky for me
