Your Site For Artists Who Paint Outdoors

Painted on a truly awful day (our only really bad paint-out day last year), it stopped raining for about half an hour. I continued to paint on location for about another 15 minutes in the rain, by which time my paint box/pallette was begining to fill with water! Finished in the studio the following morning, probably about another twenty minutes work. Chuffed with myself that I managed to beat the elements!

Thanks Elaine. Glad you like it. One of my favourites from last year.

Very nice. I love the feeling of it. I can feel that green water, and the perspective is right-on. Good job. Sounds like it was a rough day for painting out!
