The Shelter

If you walk through Stephens Green early in the mornings you will find a group of homeless people sheltering here after the park opens - I am not happy with the painting as I wiped out all of the foreground at home and had a go at re-doing it, but thought I would post it as a record of a lovely afternoon in Dublin, , oil on board 10 x 8

Comment by Sally Downey on October 28, 2012 at 23:20: You are probably right about there being two pictures 'in it' but I think the reflections of the trees give a perfect balance to the reflections of the shelter.

It was only when I started painting that they caught my eye - need more discipline but those trees are waiting for next time
