Uncannily reminiscent of an ancient ecclesiastical site, these ruins are actually less than a couple of hundred years old. Sunk in the 1820's and worked in total for under 10 years, this was no Eldorado despite its erroneous moniker 'the Silvermines'. It really produced lead and less than a dozen grams of silver per ton of the former. No fortunes made here, alas! Muckish mountain on the horizon.
