I don't remember seeing this piece George.....I love it! The greys in the distance help to make that red tree "pop". Really really great piece!!

Great to see you posting here, George. That one turned out really well and is a tremendous effort for your first plein air! One little thing you might consider is to add a little more warmth to the foreground grass and lighten (value) and cool the grass as it recedes. But don't overdo it because the real strength of this painting lies in the simplicity of the main masses. Hope you can make it to Tramore tomorrow.
