How starved of sunlight are we in this country?
I went out yesterday and sat under a tree and just
looked at the light. As i sat there with a sketchbook in my lap the light filtered down through the leafs and made dancing circle
patterns on the page, so I traced these with pastels. Then I watched heifers grazing for a
while and the black crows against the blue sky
