From Lissadell to Knocknarea

Painted this time last year on Yeats Day 13 th June 2015 when I spent most of the day painting various studies around the rear entrance to Lissadell House as the celebrations were taking place in the house and gardens... Forgot to photograph this and now it's framed and ready to go to a recently married nephew in the U.S. who is v interested in Yeats- so, a perfect home... Sligo Bay resplendent with the newly cut silage fields on the slopes of Knocknarea...!
