I did this early one morning where I used to work when all was quiet with only birdsong and me - both the gate and me were retired to pastures new last year to make way for new buildings. A thorn tree was also removed and the building site has been steeped with problems !

I love the flowing colours  and  how they contrast with the detailed rendering of the gate.   A lovely watercolour, Norah.
