Thanks for all your comments. As Philip said, there was a very nice soft lght in the afternoon. I'm looking forward to returning to Ballycross next Sunday.

You have developed a great style George - you seemed to have a great day at that farm.   thanks for the photo of Dougal, I am doing lots of old fashioned reading about art at the moment and dont think using Dougal as a " concept " would be accepted ! good fun though and we tend to do as much talking and having coffee at our paint-outs as we do painting
