Thank you Sally and Sean.   The stonework would be lovely to finish off, maybe a bit of wax resist would have added some texture.  Tractors and trains always bring me back to my childhood wandering around the fields and coming across old rusty bits of farm implements - it is a pity so many farms now are too tidy so it was great to come across this one with grass growing around its wheels.  So many of them are in museums or in fields with dangerous looking cattle so not easy to find to paint in situ

Lovely watercolour, Norah.  Nice contrast between the the mechanics of the tractor and the stonework of the barn.

I love it Norah. Little red tractors always do it for me. They have a human look and your painting expresses that.

Thanks Kevin your drawing of the tractor looked great .there was nicer light on it around 5pm from the other side .I think that location would be great for a paint out and not too far for us this side of country
