Thank you Sally and Kyrle, everything needs hard and soft edges both in life and in painting I think. Sometimes it is a change in value rather than an edge in the wrong place. Its all a learning process still. In the feeling of the moment I just go with the flow of the paint and watercolour wont dry at this time of the year so it softens. There are a few hard edges here where I used some ink. I found this article on edges - see you later at Tara

These are truely wonderful Norah. Very confidentedly done.   I don’t know why you are worried about hard lines. Are not a few necessary? All your hard work, discipline and practice has paid off.
